BROWN SPOTTED BENGAL KITTEN
6 MONTHS TO NINE MONTHS:
1 AND BOB BAKER’S TYPHAST ZEENA(F):
This girl was six months of age with an absolutely stunning coat pattern. Head a moderately broad wedge, although I would prefer a little more width to balance overall length. Nose moderately broad with slightly puffed nose leather. Muzzle moderately broad and strong. Superb face markings which run in an unbroken pattern over head, flow down neck and scatter to clear spots over shoulders.
Profile shows slight curve to nose line, firm chin and level bite. Ears rather large in size with moderate width between and well set. Eyes large in size, oval in shape and correctly set. Body long, sleek and muscular and whilst perhaps a fraction ‘elegant’ at present has a very strong feel to it. Legs medium in length, strong and muscular with moderately large and rounded paws. Legs markings very clear with fore legs showing one broken ring at top with spots right down to paws. Hind legs show clear broken flashes on upper area and spots on lower area and onto paws.
Tail rather long and needing to be thicker although does have an excellent pattern of broken rings interspersed with spots. Coat colours a pale gold ground with very dark brown medium to large spots, most of which are either arrow headed or rosettes. The pattern definition is superb with very extreme contrast between ground colour and markings. A well spotted tummy, one chin strap and two necklaces complete a stunning pattern. A well presented exhibit with a delightful temperament.
